The 2009 ProSport Endurance Series has taken a cue from the ever popular Le Mans Sports Car Racing format which places multiple classes on track together, however scores them separately with multiple teams taking wins 'in-class' respectively. As with past endurance programs, teams are weight ballasted to meet the field average weight to ensure the most level playing field possible. All teams are also provided karts that have been maintained and prepped to spec levels to ensure that driving skill, and not equipment, determine the winner. Teams are usually between 2-4 drivers each.
