on to run mostly unchallenged. Franca would lead through the first corner with Yauney and the rest of the field in tow, but bolstered with serious infighting from third on back, the front two would have the clear advantage from the get go. Both drivers would pull away from the field, with Paulo extending his advantage over Alyssa, and her over the rest of the field to cruise to easy 1-2 finish by the end. The real fight was for the final podium spot, with Jose da Silva the first driver to hold down the spot after getting the most out of the opening lap, with Donnie Clarke, Sam Hunt, and more right on his heels. Clarke was the first to attack and make it stick on da Silva, bumping up to the 3rd spot just before quarter distance, but the driver on the move was Bill Kreig. The #3 qualifier backed up his pace from earlier in the day and the heats by working up from the 7th starting spot to dispatch Clarke just past the halfway point of the race. From there, things stabilized at the front, and it would be Kreig joining Franca and Yauney, scoring his second podium in a row to start the year...
