The win would go to Bill Kreig post-race, it being his third podium of the year, but his first win since round #4 in 2019. Jose da Silva’s third place would mark his first podium since round #3 2020, and with it some solid points where he extended his advantage in the Masters category with one round to go.
And speaking of points, settling for second may have been bittersweet for the multi-time Super Series winner, but Sam Hunt can now call himself a multi-time Champion,
becoming only the second driver to win back-to-back titles since Jon Kimbrell did it in the inaugural season in 2010 and then again in 2011...
